The campaign committee of Republican Party candidate Joseph Kent, Joe Kent for Congress, refunded $2,900 to Peter Thiel on May 19, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Contribution to political committees (other than Super PACs and Hybrid PACs) from an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Joe Kent for Congress has refunded $14,425 total since Dec. 1, 2020.
