We are very proud to share that the Battle Ground Police Department was recently awarded the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs

(WASPC) Accreditation for the 4th consecutive term!  

BGPD is one of only 67 law enforcement agencies statewide that holds this prestigious designation.  WASPC accredited agencies complete a rigorous

evaluation process to certify that they are operating under best practices and standards for law enforcement.  Each accreditation cycle takes 4 years to

complete and evaluates all aspects of an agency’s operation including, but not limited to:

Health and Safety

Code of Conduct

Training

Records Management

Fiscal Management
