Water Conservation Efforts Are Critical

0Comments

Water  conservation efforts are critical in the summer months. Every drop  counts, and we are asking all of our residents to do their part to  conserve water. Please consider adopting

some of the following practices  to help conserve our water supply during the hot summer months:

-Water  your lawn only on odd/even days of the month based on the last digit of  your address (odd/even). An inch of water per week is enough to keep  lawns green. Make sure that

hoses and sprinklers are watering plants and  your lawn, not the side of your house or paved areas.

– Make sure there are no leaks within your irrigation system, water features, pools, etc.

– Run your dishwasher and washing machine only when you have a full load.

– Fix leaky faucets immediately.  A leaky faucet, dripping once per second, wastes six gallons of water a day.

Thank you for doing your part to protect and conserve our natural resources!
