Join us for a hands-on tree pruning workshop at Lieser Crest Park. Learn how to properly prune trees, improving the tree’s health and structure, minimizing the need for costly future maintenance, and enhancing the appeal of your home and neighborhood.

Join this hands-on workshop on Saturday, March 12 for an introduction to shade tree pruning, including how to make proper pruning cuts and learn to identify and correct structural defects in young trees. Gloves and tools provided. Feel free to bring your favorite pair of bypass pruners.

Want more? Join a virtual workshop on tree pruning on Wednesday, March 9 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. We will cover the same topics of tree care and health in both workshops.

Advanced registration is required, event size is limited. We will follow all City of Vancouver COVID-19 safety protocols. Please bring your own mask, water bottle, and snack. Dress for the weather. You will receive a confirmation letter with full event details and meeting location prior to the event.
