For the last 15 years, Vancouver Police Department has worked with nearly 350 Neighbors on Watch volunteers. Volunteers have donated their time and talent to VPD’s mission of making Vancouver the safest city to live, work and play. They have supported our community by being the eyes and ears for VPD during citizen patrols, responding to call-outs for missing people and evidence, identifying and researching vehicles for the Out of State License Plate Program, delivering inter-office mail, filling thousands of alarms letters and more. For the next 12 months, VPD will be highlighting the achievements and rich history of our Volunteer Program.
