6.1% of Skamania County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Skamania County recorded an unemployment rate of 6.1% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 350 people out of the 11,973 living in Skamania County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Skamania County has increased compared to the 5.8% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Skamania County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 5%.

Everyone who had a job at the time belonged to the civilian labor force.
