The City of Ridgefield is planning to issue a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) in late March for consulting services related to the City’s 2025-2045 Comprehensive Plan Update and updates to a variety of System and Capital Facilities Plans. Work will include developing the various required comprehensive plan items into the Comprehensive Plan document. The System and Capital Facilities Plans include: Water, Stormwater Management, Transportation and Parks. Other items are potentially to be included.
In advance of issuing the RFQ, Ridgefield’s Community Development and Public Works Departments will be hosting a voluntary consultant open house and meet-and-greet opportunity for those interested in the project. The event will be on Wednesday, March 22 from 2:00 to 3:30 PM at the Columbia Assembly Room in the Ridgefield Administrative and Civic Center, 510 Pioneer Street in Ridgefield. No RSVP is required. A brief presentation is anticipated to start at approximately 2:15 – 2:30 summarizing the anticipated work to be included.
Please pass along to those in your organization who may be interested and wish to attend.
At this time, we are not anticipating any other public, pre-submittal events prior to issuing the RFQ or during the RFQ submittal period.
Besides our Community Development and Public Works Directors, we expect to have our various infrastructure leads there to answer questions on the specific Capital Facilities and System Plan updates.
