(WASPC) Accreditation for the 4th consecutive term!
BGPD is one of only 67 law enforcement agencies statewide that holds this prestigious designation. WASPC accredited agencies complete a rigorous
evaluation process to certify that they are operating under best practices and standards for law enforcement. Each accreditation cycle takes 4 years to
complete and evaluates all aspects of an agency's operation including, but not limited to:
Health and Safety
Code of Conduct
Training
Records Management
Fiscal Management
