Of the 1,871 people living in Amboy in 2020, 53.3 percent (997) were women and 46.7 percent (874) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Vancouver Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 20. In the 65 and over age range, there were 161 females and 110 males.
