Vancouver is now accepting applications for grants through the Affordable Housing Fund, the Community Development Block Grant and the HOME Investment Partnership. The city has more than $6 million in grants to provide, according to a news release.

The funding is available for projects that include transitional housing, public facilities, shelters, public services, business assistance, housing projects and rental assistance or housing services that benefit low- to moderate-income residents. Housing projects include construction, acquisition and rehabilitation, according to the news release.
The Vancouver City Council will make funding decisions in March 2021 and the awards and contract negotiations will begin between April and July 2021. There are projects that could be funded earlier, the news release states.
The city has $6.72 million in grants to be used for the projects.
