Clark County is inviting local residents to apply for a position on the Clark County Housing Options Study and Action Plan Project Advisory Group (PAG), according to a release on the County's web site.
The county is inviting applicants interested in participating in aconsensus-based approach to collaborate and come up with innovative solutions to obstacles to developing additional housing types in the unincorporated Vancouver Urban Growth Area. The PAG will develop recommendations that will be considered by the public, the Clark County Planning Commission, and County Council before becoming part of the Housing Options Study and Action Plan.
The PAG will accept 20 individuals that demonstrate commitment to the scope of the project and represent a broad range of viewpoints including those most vulnerable to rising housing costs and displacement, housing industry workers, and individuals responsible for housing-related regulations.
