The Battle Ground Police Department is collecting prescription and over-the-counter medications for safe, free and anonymous disposal.

For everyone’s safety, participants will remain in vehicles and use a drive-thru process to dispose of medications. Onsite staff will follow appropriate COVID-19 safety guidelines for social distancing, face coverings, sanitizing & disinfecting.

All medications, prescription or over-the-counter, in pill, liquid or inhaler form will be accepted. Vaping devices and e-cigarettes without batteries will also be accepted.

Medications may be delivered in their original container, but it is not necessary. Organizers ask that lids are tight on any liquid medications. Sharps and syringes are not accepted at the Battle Ground location, but are accepted at the PeaceHealth Southwest Urgent Care located at 33rd & Main in downtown Vancouver.
