Camera program rollout in progress! VPD is rolling out a camera program to support improved transparency and accountability to the community. Last month, we began a phased launch of the body-worn camera program for all sworn personnel beginning with patrol officers. Vehicle cameras are tentatively scheduled for installation by the end of the year due to supply chain issues and shipping delays.
